Bonsey Design has always been about the people. Although we’re spread out across the region, we’re a tight-knit group and always ready to learn more about your brand and business.

Jonathan Bonsey Creative and Managing Director
Jonathan has over 30 years of brand and strategy development and design experience in Europe, the US and Asia. After 5 years as Managing Director at Addison Design in Singapore, followed by another 3 years in their San Francisco office, Jonathan set up The Bonsey Design Partnership in Singapore in 1993.

He and his team have since been creating award-winning designs for clients across Asia Pacific such as Cebu Pacific Air, Maxis, Maybank, Nestlé, Pos Malaysia, P&G, Mediacorp (Singapore), Mondelez and F&N.
Graham Hitchmough Regional Chief Operations Officer
Graham brings over 20 years of expertise in branding, design, advertising and marketing communications in London, Bangkok and Singapore.

Nigel Seys-Phillips Senior Consultant
Nigel first came to Asia in 1976, and has managed businesses in Hong Kong, Seoul and Singapore – from start-up to turn-around, across the gamut of market sectors.

Following a stint in the UK, where he orchestrated the 7-Eleven chain revival, the merger of Adecco, then two years in Australia, he returned to Singapore.

Nigel oversees the firm’s overall business development, and uses his considerable experience to focus design strategy directly on our clients’ profits. He has particular responsibility for our presence in Malaysia across both Bonsey Design and Bonsey Jaden.

Nigel’s great passion is his dogs.
Bhavik Bhatt Strategy Director
As the head of our strategy division, Bhavik believes in making sense of brands through the people, processes and technologies that build them. His diverse background spans 15 years in strategy, media, technology, design, architecture and business management.

At Bonsey Design, Bhavik brings sound design thinking to analytical solutions. He is the brand champion of corporate giants like DBS Bank, Cebu Pacific Air, Mediacorp and The Reliance Group.
Apollo Angco Regional Sales Manager
Apollo was born the exact second Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon. Six countries and many unique experiences later in finance, music & entertainment, sports, IT, and digital marketing, this Filipino-Canadian takes on yet another challenge of regional sales at Bonsey Design Jaden.

Apollo brings over 27 years of invaluable sales experience to BDJ where he helms the expansion of business development across the region. He consistently strives to be a leader that motivates his team with compassion, overseeing the development of solid sales pipelines through a sound system of identifying trends, strategic planning and providing quality customer service.

In his spare time, Apollo enjoys reading self-help books, finding solutions for start-up companies, collecting sneakers and baseball caps, and drinking Jack Daniel's over awesome conversations.
Vivian Khong Business Development Executive, Singapore
Vivian is not one to shy away from a challenge. From her early days in PR and banking, and later in the male-dominated tobacco and construction industries, this Mass Communications graduate has faced everything with aplomb while growing sales and market share, creating tactical campaigns, and keeping clients happy. 

The instincts Vivian’s honed in sales and marketing are now an essential part of her armoury as she hunts down business opportunities. She relentlessly pursues every lead where well-developed people skills help her connect with potential clients at all levels in an organisation, all to grow the Bonsey Design Jaden brand.

At the end of a long day, this straight-talking friendly foodie loves meeting and making new friends over a good meal while having intense discussions on social issues and global warming.
Ina Camille Quizon Business Development Executive, Philippines
After graduating cum laude from the University of the Philippines, Camille started her career in the below-the-line marketing agency life before moving to BDJ. Since then she has fallen in love with the dynamic, creative and crazy culture of the design world. 

One of the youngest in the organization, this digital native thrives in her hybrid role of building business for both the Branding and Digital sides of the company, incorporating design and technology for her clients.

Out of the office, she’s a straightforward homebody who loves nothing better than spending her time with books, coffee, food, and sleep. Or she’s having deep 3AM chats about anything empirical and abstract about life, science and philosophy.
Melissa Teoh Business Development Manager, Malaysia
With over 10 years sales and marketing experience in media and advertising landscape, Melissa has worked on integrated marketing solutions for local and global partners the likes of Unilever, L’Oreal, Nippon Paint, Renault, Themed Attractions Hotels & Resorts, Resorts World Genting, Nippon Paint, Marriott Hotels, The Estee Lauder Companies, Parkson, Isetan and Samsung. She also had a great opportunity to be a part of the pioneering team to set up an office in Malaysia for one of the world’s largest media conglomerates.

Melissa brings a versatility and resourcefulness to her business development role that straddles the online and offline worlds.

While she’s not chasing after targets and deadlines, Melissa is happiest pursuing her passion in art, with oil on canvas as one of her main mediums. She loves exploring new cultures and architecture through culinary and travel adventures.
Ariel Iskandar Business Development, Indonesia
Ariel graduated from the Universitas Padjadjaran with an International Relations degree intending to enter Indonesia’s foreign service. However he heard a different calling from the digital sector and then spent more than 3 years working for digital start-ups around South East Asia. The experience gave him the courage to take the plunge with his own tech start-up. That got him into a government-led tech incubation initiative – “Gerakan Nasional 1000 Start-up”.

This extrovert is perfectly suited for his job in business development where he gets to introduce new clients to the company, explaining our capabilities across the branding and digital spectrum.

He’s always been passionate about digital start-ups and admires work that have a disruptive and social impact. Away from the office, he plays tennis or the piano in his free time.
