Making Packaging Sense with Lars Wallentin

Lars Wallentin is one of the world's foremost authorities on strategic packaging design, point-of-sale and branding. During his 40-year career with Nestlé, Lars developed creative design solutions for iconic global brands such as Nestlé, Nescafé, Maggi, Butoni, Nesquik and Kit Kat. Today, he still consults with Nestlé but also thoroughly enjoys sharing his encyclopaedic knowledge in design, communication and packaging with young marketing people around the world.

Bonsey Design organised a master class with Lars Wallentin on the 31st July 2013, at the Singapore Management University, School of Business. Making Packaging Sense was devised to provide exceptional insight into what makes design, packaging and point-of-sale great, putting these in the context of the Brief, the Big Idea, Creativity and Execution.

Marketing managers, design managers and designers from Ferrero, Kimberly-Clark, Asia Pacific Breweries, Nestlé and P&G attended the event and came away with a better understanding of how to create a compelling story for their brand through enhanced packaging.
